Medical disclaimer
TDEECalculator.AI provides general information and estimates for healthy adults aged 18–80. It is not medical or nutrition advice, and it doesn't replace advice from your doctor, a registered dietitian or another qualified health professional.
Who we are
We're not a medical provider. Our calculators and articles are written from published research, but they aren't reviewed by a doctor or registered dietitian. Using this site doesn't create a doctor–patient or dietitian–client relationship. Don't ignore professional advice, or delay getting it, because of something you read here.
Our numbers are estimates
Calorie and macro targets come from equations that work well on average but can be off for any one person, often by 10% or more. Use them as a starting point and adjust based on how your body responds.
Talk to a professional first if you
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- are under 18
- have, or have had, an eating disorder
- have diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, a thyroid condition or another medical condition
- take medication that affects appetite, weight or blood sugar, including GLP-1 medications
- plan to eat below about 1,200 calories a day (women) or 1,500 (men)
Meal plans
Meal plans are built from your inputs and food preferences. Always check ingredient labels for allergens yourself; we can't guarantee any recipe is free of an allergen.
If something feels wrong
Stop and get medical advice if you feel dizzy, faint, very tired or unwell while changing how you eat. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
If you're struggling with food or body image, you can contact the National Alliance for Eating Disorders for free support.
